Math Teacher (Grades 5 - 8)




·         Ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor’s degree & two or more years of experience

·         Qualified applicants must have the legal right to work in the USA.

·         Teaching Certification and/or Master’s Degree a plus.


Fourth Grade Homeroom Teacher


·         Planning and implementing lessons, develop lesson plans that support project based learning ensuring attainment of grade-by-grade regulated learning standards.  Willingness to be held accountable for student results.

·         Teach language arts, social studies, mathematics, science students using appropriate learning activities.

·         Create lesson plans and instructional materials to provide individualized and small group instruction adapting the curriculum according to VA SOL standards.

·         Foster student’s behavioral standard to achieve a group learning atmosphere in the classroom and be able to differentiate student’s instruction.

·         Evaluate students’ progress, keep records, and prepare semester progress reports to communicate with parents to discuss student’s progress.

·         Cooperate with staff members to assess students in solving learning problems and participate in curriculum development programs as required.

·         Requisition books / instructional aids and maintain classroom inventory records.

·         Knowledge of cultural difference of students and ability to incorporate differences into teaching.

School Counselor Position – Part Time


·         Provide short-term, solution-based counseling for academic, social and emotional well-being.

·         Participate in the early identification and referral of students in need of outside support services.

·         Assist with referrals for additional assistance, consultation and collaboration with families, teachers, other educators, and community organizations and agencies.

·         Present introduction of the school counseling program to staff, parents, and students

·         Provide immediate school-based crisis response


 Qualifications: Master’s Degree in School Counseling required. Experience is a plus.
