Montessori Primary Lead Teacher (children 3-5 years) needed with a patient, caring attitude, excellent classroom management skills, and ability to work with children from diverse backgrounds. The teacher will develop Montessori-inspired lessons reflective of children's emergent skills and interests as well as evaluate students’ progress and communicate with parents to discuss student’s development.
Requirements:
- BA or Associate Degree in Early Childhood
- AMS/AMI Certificate
- Teaching Experience
- First Aid/CPR Certificate
The Montessori Assistant will back up the Lead teacher and help children as needed during work periods, supervise children on the playground and at lunch, and prepare the classroom for snack and naptime. Ideally, the candidate for this job will have formal early childhood education classroom experience and/or a CDA or AA Early Childhood credential.
Requirements:
- Teaching experience with preschool children
- First Aid/CPR Certificate
